Class Descriptions

Sunrise Yoga- Come in to class before your work day starts  and get your yoga in early! Rising with the sun will start your day off right and leave  you feeling energized, connected, and at peace for the rest of your day.  Our sunrise yoga classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 6:30.This is an all levels morning flow. 

Morning FlowJump start your day and wake up your body! This class is taught to all levels of strength and flexibility. Modifications will be offered for newer students as well as more challenging options for the more experienced students. Join us and start off your day with a positive mind and a strong body!

All Levels-  This class is taught to all levels of strength and flexibility. Modifications will be offered for newer students as well as more challenging options for the more experienced student. All are welcome and everyone's needs will be catered to.

Gentle Flow-This class is for all levels of practice and abilities. This soothing gentle practice focuses on moving slowly into basic yoga poses while using the breath as a tool to remain present and mindful. The slow pace of this class allows you to enjoy each pose. Expect lots of stretching and lengthening with a heavy dose of relaxation to wrap up your practice and leave you feeling great!

Yogic StretchThis class will prepare you for the week by stretching and relaxing all of the major muscle groups. Poses will generally be held for 1-2 minutes and class will include some gentle flow to transition between poses. This class is suitable for all levels.

Power- Vinyasa Power Yoga is a fluid, powerful, style of yoga that links movement and breath together and is based on intuition rather than tradition. Vinyasa Power Yoga heals, detoxifies and exhilarates the body and mind with emphasis on movement, balance, and intention.

All Levels AshtangaThis class is an introduction to the Ashtanga Primary Series. This is a set sequence of postures designed to build strength, flexibility, focus and endurance. Some yoga experience is recommended but as always we will modify for students as needed. 

Ashtanga Primary Class-  This class is for our students who have been taking the All Levels Ashtanga class and are looking  to take your Ashtanga practice to the next level. In this class we will guide you through the postures of the Full Primary Series. Expect to be challenged and supported through this 90 minute class as you explore the art of Ashtanga yoga. We recommend taking the All Levels Ashtanga before taking this class. Modifications will be offered and encouraged. 

RestorativeRestorative yoga is a gentle, calming and therapeutic yoga class. Props are used to support the body as it eases into relaxation. All levels welcome.

Community ClassThis is a by donation class. Proceeds from these classes go to different local charities in our community and our surrounding communities. This class is for all levels and tends to be on the gentler side. 

Yin Yoga- Suitable for all levels.  Yin Yoga invites you to slow down and create space for stillness while nourishing joints, ligaments, tendons and fascia. Yin is yoga at its coolest, deepest, quietest, stillest moments. This class will have you on the floor most of the time, using as many props needed to create as little effort while holding poses. Poses are held for 2-5 minutes allowing joints and fascia to release. This class will complement your Vinyasa practice and will open and release areas in need of more attention.

Yoga Nidra-The practice and art of Yogic Sleep. In this class you will be guided through a detailed sleep meditation that will allow your mind and body to slip into a deep state of relaxation. The brain will switch from beta to alpha waves, signaling the transition from activity to meditation.
